Approximately 25% of the elderly suffer from hearing loss. For
seniors who are not enrolled in senior centers that have services
for the hearing impaired, The League for the Hard of Hearing is
currently providing mobile services in low-income neighbourhoods
throughout NYC. These services include; hearing screenings, evaluations
and referrals for hearing aids.

task. This program was designed to assist seniors with the day
to day chores that are needed to maintain an independant lifestyle
in their own homes. These services include, but are not limited
to, changing bulbs, fuses and other minor home repairs.
